Individual Counseling

FYP offers individual counseling as well as specific modalities such as EMDR, DBT, & RO-DBT (see below).

FYP is an out-of-network provider and does not accept insurance at this time. However, FYP understands the significance of maximizing your healthcare benefits and want to support you in this process, and offers super bills to do so. Super-bills contain all the necessary details for you to seek reimbursement from your insurance provider.

Individual sessions are $165/50 minutes; Intake sessions are $225/60-75 minutes. In certain circumstances, limited sliding scale fee options may be available to accommodate varying financial needs.

EMDR

(Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing)

EMDR is an alternative option for those who may find traditional talk therapy challenging or overwhelming. This approach facilitates the brain's natural healing processes, by allowing an individual to integrate the traumatic experience into their overall memory network in a more adaptive way.

DBT

(Dialectical Behavior Therapy)

DBT is an approach that focuses on teaching skills in four key areas: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. It is used to treat individuals with emotional dysregulation.

RO-DBT

(Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy)

RO-DBT emphasizes the importance of emotional openness, social connection, and flexibility, helping individuals to balance their need for control with a more adaptive approach to life’s challenges. This approach may be effective for conditions such as perfectionism, OCD, eating disorders, and more.
